Unit C2 is responsible for establishing efficient and effective communication channels within and outside of ARPA on both local and international/EU levels. Thus, official communications to be sent out to other departments or entities, to EU institutions or other international organisations, and to any of ARPA’s clients as required, are to be channeled through this Unit for necessary review and transmission according to established Ministerial procedures.
Recognising the significance of clear and concise communication, the unit strives to deliver high-quality services to the Agency’s beneficiaries and the local farming community, in line with ARPA’s commitments as a Quality Service Award Holder, which are outlined in ARPA’s Quality Service Charter available for viewing on this website. The unit also acts as a horizontal coordinator, fostering coordination and collaboration between the various units within the agency.
In addition to its primary responsibilities, Unit C2 assumes the crucial role of managing ARPA’s generic mailbox. This mailbox serves as a vital medium of communication with the agency’s beneficiaries, ensuring effective and timely interactions. By promptly addressing inquiries, feedback, and requests, the unit guarantees a seamless communication experience that contributes to the agency’s overall success whilst adhering to the Quality Service Charter regulations. The Communications and Reporting Unit is also responsible in updating the ARPA website accordingly ensuring that the necessary documentation and applications are accessible by the public.
Moreover, Unit C2 also plays a crucial role in publicity actions and liaises constantly with the Ministry’s Communications Department. The Unit contributes to write-ups and information publications whilst also participating and contributing to media events with the objective of making the public aware about ARPA’s work and any funding opportunities which may be made available from time to time, particularly in view of ARPA’s role in the implementation of the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
